The Grand Cherokee is Jeep's ultimate luxury line up. But there’s luxury, and then there's luxury luxury. There’s many different levels of the 2022 Grand Cherokee available and this article will cover what each of them are and what each of them mean.
Laredo
Starting at $50,945
The Laredo is the basic, lowest level trim for the Cherokee but that by no means makes it unluxurious. Laredo still comes standard with heated seats and steering wheels, power liftgate and remote start functionality, and a Uconnect touchscreen interface.
Altitude
Starting at $55,455
Altitude is the next level up at an added extra of around $5000 to the price, it adds a set of gloss black aluminium wheels, Black Leather seats and gloss black detailing for the grill and badges.
Limited
Starting at $58,245
Limited adds Polished silver Aluminium wheels, heated leather seats in the front and back and Jeep's famous Quadra-Trac II off road drive system. Limited is the mid-range fancy tier. Fancier than Laredo but not quite as fabulous as some of the trims further up.
Trailhawk
Starting at $64,070
We’re starting to get into the beefier trims now. Trailhawk is the offroading package and it comes with a Quadra-Drive II system and Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, premium audio speakers and subwoofer, Leather Seats with Suede inserts, and a bigger, stronger 5.7L V8 HEMI Engine.
Limited X
Starting at $65,245
Limited X is as you’d expect a direct upgrade of the Limited, adding even more luxury features. It comes with Gloss Black Aluminium wheels and trim, as well as a touchscreen interface, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon high intensity headlamps, and that 5.7L V8 HEMI.
Overland
Starting at $66,618
Overlands is the combo of luxury and off road features. It has Grey Aluminium wheels and trim with the bi-xenon headlights, premium audio system and subwoofer, panoramic sunroof and the 5.7L V8 HEMI.
Summit
Starting at $71,689
Summit is the highest trim level currently available for the 2022 model and it’s the fanciest to match the price. It upgrades to a premium 19 speaker audio system and also adds forward collision warning with active braking, lane sense, and lane keep assist with polished aluminium wheels and accents.
